Noteworthy
 
The 2003 Recipient of UL-Lafayette’s Outstanding Teacher Award, Jack Ferstel taught the first two on-line courses in the Department in 2000-2001. He has chaired UL’s Canadian Studies Committee since 1990 and is a co-founder of the Southern Association for Canadian Studies. He is the advisor for the local chapter of Phi Beta Delta, Honor Society for International Scholars International, and is currently the International Vice-President of the Society.
