Noteworthy
 
Jerry McGuire received his B.A. from Wesleyan University (English and Linguistics) in 1976, and his Ph.D. from SUNY at Buffalo (English/Poetics) in 1981. He has published his poetry in many periodicals and in three books, The Flagpole Dance, Vulgar Exhibitions, and Venus Transit. His scholarly work includes publications about Shakespeare, literary theory, poetics, pedagogy, postcolonial studies, and film.
