The Writing Lab

We work with writers at any stage of the writing process. The Writing Lab welcomes students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines and also offers resources for those writing in English as a second language.

Session Information
What to bring: your assignment prompt, any part of your draft (digital or print), and the name of your tutor.
What to expect: your tutor will look over your writing and help you form a plan to improve. Sessions last 50 minutes or less.
What we don’t do: copy edit, write your paper for you, guarantee a good grade, or respond to papers that treat culturally sensitive issues inappropriately.
What we help with: brainstorming, grammar, structure, organization, ESL, formatting, statements of purpose, cover letters, emails, and any other academic or professional writing.
